Con Air (1997)

Catch Dave Chappelle as Joe

Theatrical Release Date: June 6, 1997

Summary: Crazyness ensues when some of the most dangerous convicts in the U.S. are all being transported on the same flight. But newly released ex-con good guy Cameron Poe (Nick Cage) is just tying to go home to see his daughter and the only way that's going to happen is if he saves the day all by himself. Review:

This is one of those movies that you never saw in the theatre, but watch it everytime its on TNT or TBS (which is like twice a week). Its got explosions, cons killing people, and a horribly unnecesary ending involving the Vegas strip. Dave plays a small roll within the film but a quite a large one concerning plot movement. Afterall, he is the one who swallowed the match and flamable liquid to start the plane mutiny and he is the one who Nick Cage throws off the plane with a message to the cops. This movie is just a victim of the summer it came out where all stunts and action had to be more insane and eye pleasing than ever before. If you hate southern accents though, don't watch this because Cameron (Cage) has the worst one ever constructed by an acting coach.
